Prosperity Global Trading Challenge

These Terms and Conditions apply to the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge conducted by IMC Trading B.V. (for European residents), IMC Chicago LLC (for US residents) and IMC Pacific Pty Ltd (for APAC residents (collectively “IMC”). By participating in the Prosperity Global Trading Challenge you expressly agree to these Terms and Conditions detailed below. IMC reserves the right to modify, alter and update the content of these conditions at any time. If you do not agree to the changes, you must cease participating in the Prosperity Global Trading Challenge. By continuing to participate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Participants & Registration

Participation is restricted to persons over the age of 18 and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Staff of IMC or IMC affiliates, staff of IMC competitors or any company active in high frequency trading and the organizations that contributed to the development of the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge are excluded from participation. Participants that took place in the 2023 edition of the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge and ranked top 10 are also excluded from participation.

Registration will take place through IMC’s website and will close on 23rd of April 2024. Any registration past such date shall not be taken into account.

IMC reserves the right to exclude entrants from participation without giving reasons, particularly in the event of failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions.

IMC reserves the right to disqualify a participant if its participation would violate local law or these Terms and Conditions or cause material damage to the reputation of IMC and/or any other party.

Winner

The determination of the winner(s) will be at IMC’s absolute discretion and is beyond any discussion. Participants are ranked according to their final account balance at the conclusion of the challenge. In case of a draw, earliest submission takes precedence.

The winner(s) will be announced 2 weeks after the final round ends. Announcement will take place by personal email.

Prizes will be sent to the winner(s) within 3 months after completion of the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge at their personal address. Participants will be responsible for paying all potential taxes on the prizes. In order for a winner who is a US resident to receive a prize, that winner must provide IMC with a valid and completed IRS Form W-9.

Privacy

These Terms and Conditions are subject to applicable privacy regulations. If you register as a participant in the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge and provide your personal data, you give consent to IMC to use the information for participation in the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge, and to inform you of upcoming IMC events and job openings. If you do not provide us with the relevant personal data, we may not be able to provide you with access to the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge.

Please note that you are free to decide if you want to participate in the challenge and that you can withdraw your consent to use your personal data at any time by contacting IMC. For further details about how we handle our personal data reference is made to IMC’s Privacy Policy.

Applicable law and competent court

For participants who are US residents or residents from South America, the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and the courts within the State of Illinois shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate upon disputes in connection with the challenge.

For participants resident in Europe or residents from Africa, this challenge shall be governed by the laws of The Netherlands, and the competent court shall be the courts of Amsterdam.

For participants resident in the APAC region, the applicable laws shall be the laws of New South Wales and the courts of New South Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate upon disputes in connection with the challenge.

Liability

IMC assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any consequences of any use or reliance upon the completeness or correctness of the information contained within the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge. IMC reserves the right to terminate at any time or temporarily put on hold the IMC Prosperity Global Trading Challenge for whatever reason until further notice and assumes no responsibility or liability for any consequences of such termination or hold.
